Ahmed said the officer was rude, but we expected that, the officer tried to twist his words around on him on a couple of questions but I think ahmed answered appropriately and kept his calm and was polite even when officer was not. for instance the officer asked him how we met…ahmed told him he had a friend in the USA and about how i been long time friends with this friends’ wife and so on, told him the complete truth how we met, the officer accused him wanting to come the USA just to come to the USA, ahmed told him “i want to be with her, where ever she lives, she lives in united states I want to be with her” he quickly moved on to the next question after that.
He asked about what kind of work I did. The CO also asked when I got divorced and when ahmed met me, the CO harassed him little over that about him starting a relationship with me when I was still legally married ( I was separated and filed for divorce when I met ahmed and my papers were finalized 2 months after meeting him) He asked other questions like what ahmed did for work my name, where do I live and where do we plan on living united states or Egypt?
He asked ahmed why I have not been back to Egypt, ahmed explained I had planned to come back this past summer but due to the situation that happened in Egypt this summer we decided it was not safe for me to come at this time…the officer then asked why didn't u go meet her in a different country then? ahmed replied with…”I have never been outside of Egypt and we had discussed this idea but decided to wait for this interview”.
Ahmed told him that he had new evidence if he would like to see it, the officer said yes, flipped thru the package glanced at 2 pages and 2 of the 20 pics he brought with him said thanks and handed it back to him and never asked to see any of his original documents. He then told him you will need to go get ur TB medical text renewed and send it back to the embassy via DHL, Ahmed asked him if he could ask what the result of this interview was and the office said, “ you will know once you send us your new TB test.” and that was the end of the interview. the Co never look at any of his orginal documents….believe he did show some to the woman he spoke to first before the interview, the co was typing on the computer the whole time as ahmed was answering him. ahmed said he did not like the man but was polite with him, that he was not friendly at all…..the co handed him a paper that had all different boxes to check what was missing or what they wanted…they just marked other and wrote “TB”……………….the “administrative processing” box was not mark so i’m hoping that means no ap and he will get visa once we submit new TB test
