I arrived exactly 30 minutes before my scheduled interview time, showed my passport and interview letter, and was directed to join the shortest queue. I waited for 2 and a half hours to go through the little security checkpoint hut, but it went fairly quickly because I was chatting to the family behind me in the queue.
When I was allowed into the Embassy, a lady at the front desk looked at my letter again and seemed a bit concerned that I'd been waiting for so long, but gave me a little ticket with a number on it and told me to wait in the hall until my number was called. I think it was about 10 minutes before I had to go up to one of the little windows and have the first bit of the interview and pay the application fee. Then I sat reading my book for another 30 minutes before I was called up for the next bit of the interview. The lady who interviewed me checked a few things on my forms, asked me some straightforward questions and then told me I was approved!
