I had my k1 visa interview yesterday. It was a very easy and pleasant experience. The security staff were very nice and pleasant, I got there around 12.30 took a ticket and waited around 30 mins, then I was called to the window where a nice guy verified all my paperwork I had previously submitted, and asked for the rest of the required docs, ( packet 3)
He told that it all looked fine to take a seat again, around 10-15 mins i was called back up, a very nice american man asked me some questions, when did you meet ? How ? when did we become romantily involved ? Where do we intend to live? Do i intend to work once in the usa? What is my current occupation ? Then made me swear we intend to marry within 90days, took my fingerprints, asked for some proof of the relationship. I showed him photos, boarding passes, hotel confirmations. He then said all looks good everything is in order, visa is approved you will receive in mail in about a week.I must say that it was overall a very relaxed and pleasant experience and the embassy people were so nice and put everybody at ease.
