Guangzhou, China | Review on November 19, 2013: | crooner
Rating: | Review Topic: K1 Visa
Interview was scheduled for 9:45 AM, and interview started around 10:20. Same sort of short questions already shown in this review section of this forum, nothing really signficant. Nice people and non-abrasive and efficent.
The hospital forgot to place an expiration date on the medical result, so you may want to remind the doc office to do so. We were told we were approved at the interview, but they needed the doctor to send a new report. We sent that with the passport on Nov 8 and now waiting for the visa.
I think we did not get a lot of questons because we had ample proof of relationship. I had several trips to China, with photos, phone logs, skpe messages, airline receipts, etc.
We hired a lawyer for 2K USD (handles from petition to green card), but in hine sight, I don't think it was worth it for us. The laywer was VERY slow to respond to questions and simply confirmed what I already gathered/assumed. So it mounted to a $2K piece of mind.
