Not much to add to the other experiences. We were very glad to know that C. should show up at 9:45, that he needed to leave his luggage behind, and to have the paperwork in order posted.
The interview was easy; they asked him two questions about me, and one question about his traffic violation arrest that we had disclosed. The officer chuckled that he had been honest enough to include it. He was out of there by about 11:30 and told to return at 2.
C. found downtown Vancouver dull since it was mostly office buildings, and it was raining. He had lunch, got bored, returned to the consulate around 1:30 and had his visa by 1:45. Picked up his luggage, hopped in a taxi, returned to the airport, flew standby back to Edmonton, and was home by 10pm.
