I got to say my experience with the interview was pretty good. Arrived at 6:30am (appointment at 8:30am) and got in a huge line waiting to get in the US Embassy. At 7:30am they opened and gave some brief instructions of what not to bring inside. Passed all the security checkpoint rings. Finally at 8:00am took a number and waited to be called. Later my number came up and I went to a window to give a very nice lady all the document required. She gave me back many of the photos we submitted at the beginning. Also, made the payment required in another window. Then waited to be called again for the interview with another IO. Besides me 4 other females for k1 Visa interview and others waited for other types of visa. Many rejected and others passed. Finally they called me and I went to the window attended by a male IO who reviewed my huge file in a red folder. The only questions he asked me was if I knew if my fiancé had a children (actually a daughter), what old is she and what year she was born. Also, if my parents approved of me getting married. He discreetly observed my engagement ring and last asked if we already knew where the marriage will be held. I said .... Las Vegas, ... VIVA LAS VEGAS!!!
He then smiled and said, listo! Then I asked what. And he replied, listo, you passed! javascript:emoticon('')
Made the payment for DHL and left the US Embassy at around 11am. javascript:emoticon('')
Very smooth interview. javascript:emoticon('')javascript:emoticon('')javascript:emoticon('')
