My fiance had his interview with the embassy on 9/16/2013. He had a very good experience there, and felt the interview and paperwork process was less stressful than anticipated.
Please note: If you have traveled/worked in the U.S. in the past, they ask for your passport showing these entries, and your visa papers given upon entry and return to Chile. Luckily, he was super prepared and had these items with him, otherwise he would have had to return home and send them in.
