The interview at the Frankfurt consulate was very relaxing and people were very, very friendly.
My appointment was at 08.30 am so at that time it was pretty crowded in front of the building.I had to wait in line for about 10-15 minutes and a woman looked at my passport and gave me a number.Going through security was no problem at all.Everybody was very friendly!
In the consulate I went to a info desk and the guy standing there gave me instructions on how to proceed. Since i had an immigrant visa i could skip the long line for the non- immigrant visa and went straight to a window where a friendly man took my fingerprints and gave me my dhl letter i submitted to fill out. After that I was not even seated for 3 minutes until I was called up to a woman who checked my papers and told me that everything looked fine. She said she just needs me to confirm that all the facts about me are correct. That took not even 5 minutes and after that i was told to sit down again and wait for the final review.i waited for about 30 minutes, then my number was called. i walked up to the window and the officer took some fingerprints again for verification and then had me swear that I am gonna tell the truth. during the interview the following questions were asked:
1. Where did you meet?
2. how did you meet?
3. What does your fiancé do for a living?
4. What is his degree in?
Thats it.After that he told me that my visa is authorized and I should expect it in 1 week.
I am so glad it is over and the interview was really not that bad as I thought
