Review Topic: K1 Visa

We had our interview yesterday at the embassy in Jamaica. Overall, my fiance said everyone was friendly and it went well, we were approved! We arrived at 8:30am for a 9:30 am appointment. I accompanied my fiance to the interview but was not allowed inside (even into the courtyard others mentioned in previous posts). He completed the process at about 2 pm.

First, they took his fingerprints, next they took his documents, then he paid the visa fee, he waited about 2 hours and then was interviewed.

Here are the questions, in no particular order:

How do you meet?
Where and when did you propose?
How much did you pay for the engagement ring?
Where does your fiance work?
How often do you see each other?
Does your fiance have family in Jamaica (my parents are from Jamaica)?
Where are you going to live when you arrive in the U.S.?
Have you ever been arrested/imprisoned?
Where do you work?
When he handed over the pictures, the CO asked him to take him through the pictures quickly, identify both the persons in the pictures and where the pictures had been taken.

Inbox me if you have any additional questions.
