Hi Y'all,

I was under stress that day, because, I had a plane tickets to USA in two days.
I know it is stupid, but when you are young, you like the risk, right?
So, I was in shock, when a secretary at the first window told me that my original birth certificate is not translated, and I will need to come back LATER!
But I had my old (Russian) Birth certificate with translation and notary stamp, so I felt a relieve.
Like everybody I had all the proofs with me, all copies, lots of pictures, pay stubs, tax returns of my husband, plain tickets and so on...
The interview took only 5 minutes. The consulate was very nice. He ask how we met, how many relatives I have in USA, when was the first time when I traveled to USA.. .and... that was about it... he asked for my passport and said I will get it back in two days. Then I went back to talk to secretory and tried to explain her that I am going to miss my flight, but she said that MAYBE if I will call the next day there is a chance I will get it back at 3 p.m. That was the longest 24 hours I ever had in my life... believe me... never buy tickets in advance and especially the cheapest ones because they are non-returnable - non-changeable
I got back my passport the next day after interview. The interview was a pies of cake, but the waiting - sucked..
Oh ... and I waited for may green card in USA for 4 weeks good luck y'all !
