The Venezuelan Consulate works pretty much like many others, you go in, take a number and wait til your number is called,I guess it depends on how many people are being interviewed at the immigration section of the consulate. I got there at 9 am, and I was called to the window at 10.45 am more or less. The CO was not friendly, but she wasnt too cold either. She asked for the info, made me sign my forms and told me to go and pay the 100$ fee. Take cash, they do not take checks or debit cards. They use the official exchange rate. After bringing the receipt to the CO, I was told to sit and after 10 minutes or so, I got called again. It was other CO, she was much nicer and friendlier, she took my finger prints, and told me that I was approved, she asked me a couple of questions and that once I got my visa I could move immediately to the US, did I have any questions??... Not really!!!! I was so nervous, but it really wasn't a hassle at all. The consulate doesnt require a whole lot of information.
