Moscow, Russia | Review on July 7, 2013: | Lilly.Pon
Rating: | Review Topic: K1 Visa
The interview at the Moscow Embassy took about 5 min. The actual time spent at the Embassy (passing security, waiting, fingerprinting, more waiting) was over 3 hours.
Questions asked (in English): "How did you meet? Where do you and your fiancé work? Where does your fiancé live?" No proof of relationships was requested in addition to the paperwork filed with I-129F.
I rate the overall experience at 5 (despite the long waiting time), because the Consul at window#3 was very friendly and even supportive to all the anxious people passing interview with him. Especially to the older ladies who were getting visa to go stay with their kids in the U.S.
Interview on 27Jun13 -> Visa issue date 01Jul13 -> Passport (and sealed envelope) received 05Jul13 (Sent from Moscow to Vladivostok).
