Review Topic: K1 Visa

My Fiancee arrived in front of the embassy at approximately 5:50. Her appointment was at 7:15, or that is the time the schedule all of the Fiance(e)s visa interviews. She was interviewed at 10:00. There were 16 Fiancee's and 2 Fiance's. She was #7 in line. We had previously practiced the questions she might be asked, they can be found here in other interview review’s etc. They asked her exactly the same one’s we studied. A man went through her papers to see that they were in order and complete before her interview. She didn\'t bring her I-129 petition papers, or the RFE papers, only what was requested on the embassy website. There is one form missing on their list that they need, I think it was the DS-156K. We figured that out before the interview.
The questions were:
How did you meet?
Which website?
Were you lookiing for men on the internet?
Were you looking for only Americans?
Was your fiance the first you met online?
Have you tried a visa to the USA before?
Why were you denied?
Why did you choose this man?
How do you and him communicate?
She asked to see the pictures? (she looked at all 48)
When was the last time he visited?
She asked about some pictures of when they were taken.
How many times was he divorced?
How many kids does he have?
Why did his last marriage not work?
Was his last wife an American?
Do you plan on having children?
Do you want to work there?
She asked approximately 25 questions, but I did not list the more personal qustions. Her interview was not one of the easier ones with only 2 or 3 questions. Luck of the draw? Red flags?
I just thank God for helping us with the approval. My advice is to do research on the available questions, practice them, and what ever you do, be honest and don’t make up anything. I think they read over the petition papers beforehand, and have “ammunition” for the interview. Then they act like they are only asking a question out of the blue, but already know what the fiance answered for the same question…I think they try to trick you a little...
Hope this helps someone.
