Fort Smith AR | Review on June 25, 2013: | Bill and Vicky

This was a biometrics appointment for a Removal of Condition.
(Caution: Interstate 540 is undergoing major construction in the Fort Smith area. Allow extra time to get to the office if you're using I-540.)
Appointment was at 1pm. Arrived at 12:45pm. Security asked us to wait outside for a minute, then let us in. The metal detector was down, so we turned over our pocket belongings for the x-ray and were then hand-wanded one at a time. They didn't say "we're going to use the wand to touch you in private places" like the TSA does, but they were thorough in their investigation. They also asked both of us to pull up our pants legs...I'm guessing someone forgot an ankle holster at some point. They were friendly and professional, and the whole process took five minutes.
As soon as we finished with that, my wife checked in at the window. They asked her to fill out a half-page form of identification information, and gave her a number. We were seated and "waiting" by 12:55pm.
At 1:18pm, my wife was called in. She came out again at 1:24pm, and we were done. She said that the staffer was friendly and professional, and she was happy with the experience.
I hope we do as well when it's time for the interview.
The office has both a men's and a ladies' restroom. There are about 80 seats, and there were probably 30 people maximum while we were there. Most of the people appeared to be Hispanic...everyone was speaking Spanish. The office is easy to find, and there's plenty of parking around the building.
