Had interview on Thursday June 18, 2013, at 8:00am. We parked in the many public parking spaces that they have near downtown area for $2 for 2 hours. We arrived and and put our apointment paper in the slot in door #1.
We arrived 5 mintues early and waited 5 minutes and they called us in. We had a male african american IO with a very straight face look and personality, a no-nonesense type of person. He called me in first and ask a couple of questions (will list them below). He then walked me out to the waiting room and had my husband go in with him. My brother went with my husband as an interpreter. Also the IO had me leave my belongs in the room that he was interviewing us while i waited in the waiting room. He asked my husband the same questions as he asked me but less direct to see if my husband could answer with similar answers as mine. Afterwards the IO came back to the waiting room to ask me to go back into the room with my husband. The IO asked if we had any documents that showed co-mingling or joint accts (will put a list below). After that he walked us out and we thanked him.
From the minute we arrived there to leaving it only took 20 minutes.
Questions IO asked:
1. When did we meet and who were we with when we did
2. Where do we live
3. What floor do we sleep on and does it have a bathroom
4. Who lives with us and give a description of them (appearance, work, personality, hobbies)
5 Where is my father and what is he doing now (it was because my father past away so he wanted to see if my husband knew that)
6. Where do I work and what is my position
7. What's my work schedule
8. What did I do this past weekend?
Evidence for AOS
- Copy of joint filing of income tax (which we forgot to give to IO)
- Copy of my husband's name on electric bill (our company only lets one name on it)
- Copy of both our credit cards that showed same card number (did not have a statment with both names on it yet)
- Copy of my life insurance with my husband as beneficiary
- Copy of our health insurance cards with both name on it
- Copy of statements of our joint bank saving and checking accounts
- Copy of letters we sent each other before we married
- Copy of phone records before marrying (but we forgot to bring these and the IO asked for it)
Oh an fyi, we were able to bring cell phones but just had to turn them off. At the door, the securities asked for ID and the appointment letter.
