Writing this review on behalf of my husband.
So he got there around 7:30-7:50ish and was number 12 in line out of 20ppl. They handed him the clear folder to put his documents in(new tax returns, updated I-864 and recent paystubs from my job),Letterpack, passport, passport photos, fingerprints, and then he had to wait an hour till he was called for his interview. The CO according to my husband never smiled, and didn't give my husband a choice if he wanted to converse in English or Japanese, so it was entirely in English.
He just asked basic questions:
How did we meet?
Where did my husband go to school?
What work am I doing right now?
And after that he said "congratulations you're approved!"
It also seems that maybe we didn't have to hand in the recent tax returns + I-864 cause even though they took the tax returns they said that co-sponsors already qualified looking at their history for the poverty guideline to support him so they didn't really need it? They also gave back our updated I-864,marriage certificate,BC,and medical stuff.
But yeah, better safe than sorry.
Overall this happened all within an hour! My husband was done by 9:30.
IMHO this embassy is pretty straight forward, get there early, have your stuff, and your good to go=)
