everything ran smoothly, let say...no trouble at all. i came to the embassy at 10 in the morning. but the officers told me that I had to wait until 12.30. so I waited until they finally allowed me to get in. after letting them check all my stuffs, I went in and they checked everything again using this scanner thing like you see in the airport. I was nervous as hell i went straight to the room for immigrant visa. there i saw some people, waiting for their turns. met this Lady Window 5 who asked me to give her what she needed (original passport, medical exam results) then she asked me to sit back and wait until they called my name (this lady window 5 was not that friendly btw ) around 20 minutes later, the man in the booth called me. then he asked me to put my fingers on the scanner machine, i was so sweaty trembling, i thought i wouldn't make it...cuz for some reasons, the scanner couldn't read my fingers! he asked me to relax...hehe so finally i made it then he asked me to swear that everything that i would tell him would be the truth, honest answers.
the questions i remember:
who is your petitioner?
where did you meet?
when did you get married?
how many times he visited Indonesia? when?
how many siblings does your husband have?
where do they live?
where does he live?
with whom does he live?
what does he do?
what is his address?
have you ever been married before?
where does his mother live?
what does his mother do?
where does his father live? what does he do?
who is ****? (asking my husband's sister)
have you ever been to USA before?
--
i could say that there were around 20 questions in 15 minutes interview-session :P and oh, he asked me the same question twice (have you ever been married before)
tips: just be prepared. be honest. bring some tissue with u cuz after i was sure that i got my visa, i called my husband n cried happily n i ran out of tissue haha
