I arrived in front of the embassy at 12h50 (appointment at 13h). The guard at the entrance asked for my appointment letter, passport and briefly checked my handbag then let me go ahead. The first door leads you to the security check where they take away any electronic devices (in my case my phone) and give you a yellow tag to get everything back when you exit the embassy. After the checking is done you can now enter the embassy itself. The lady at the front desk checked my letter, handed me a ticket and told me to go to the waiting room and wait for my ticket number to show up on one of the boards on the wall.

After about 30 min, i got called to a window, the lady there requested my appointment letter and my ticket number then invited me to go back and take a seat while waiting to get called again.
After another 30 min, she called me back and this time requested all the forms, medical results and documents that I was supposed to bring for the interview. (For the affidavit of support she only kept the I-134, employment letter and W2 of my fiancé and gave me back the tax form and pay stubs. As i had a co-sponsor, she only kept the co-sponsor's I-134 and employment letter. And for evidence of ongoing relationship she didn't want any as she already had the evidences that my fiancé had send with the I-129F). After she got everything needed included fingerprints she gave me some insights about what i'll be able to do once in the US and she told me to go sit again and that i will be interviewed in a few.
30 min later, i got called to another window. A lady told me to lift up my right hand and swear that so far i told the truth and will tell the truth. She verified my fingerprints and started asking me questions. The whole interview was in french, she never asked me if I wanted it in english and the whole interview was less than 10 min I believe.

Some of the questions she asked (not in order): Did he or I ever got married before? Where and when we met? When was the first time we met personally? When did we get engaged? When did he proposed? Why didn't u get married earlier? Did he come visit you in France? Did he met your parents? Did I met his parents? When was the last time I visited my fiancé? What diploma I had? What's my job? For which company? What was my fiancé's job, with which company and what's was his diploma? That ring (the one I was wearing) did your fiancé gave it to you? How long was your longest stay in the US? What did you plan for the wedding? ...

After all the questions, she stayed quiet for a bit and was typing things on the computer. I saw her writing on the cover sheet of my file "AP" and i got worried. Was it "AP" for "approved" or "AP" for "administrative processing"? So I asked her if it was OK for the visa and she said that the visa will be send within 10 days or so but not to buy the plane tickets before i actually get the visa in hand. I told her i was actually planning to leave in about 2 weeks so she wrote down "ASAP" on the cover sheet also and with that the interview was done. I left the embassy at 15h.

As of today, my interview was on the 23th of may, my visa was issued and send on the 31th of May (8days after) and I just received it this morning (the 3rd of june) (Just a little advice so you won't bite your nails like i did this whole week-end... Please don't FORGET to put the saturday delivery option on the chronopost envelope before u hand it over because they won't do it for you...)
