Our appoitment was scheduled by 7 am. We arrived at 6.20 am and we did not have to follow the line. We did have an issue with the CD for my lungs pictures because in Caracas they do not allow any CD but they have a little cabine and there they can keep things for only Americans. So, solved that we waited in the patio and were told to wait till the Immigration section was open. We passed the security check there and then we were lead to the Immigration part and inmedialtly we were sent to the interviews section. I grabbed a number and they asked for my name within 15 minutes. The lady (a venezuelan I guess) requested: the forms, the affidavit, taxes 2011, my bday certificate, my divorce decree (no apostille by the way) criminal records and nothing else (no job letter no paytubs) She asked me: when did we meet, how many times we have been together, where have I lived before Curacao, how many years, what was my job, what was his job, whether my ex was venezuelan, where we got divorced. I replied calmly till the moment she said: your fiance is divorced but it seems he is in a hurry to marry you. I panicked at that moment. I asked why and she said: I see the bunch of emails he has sent and I explained there were 2 problems with my case and she said: no, it was more than that but it is ok. No further explanations for that comment. She sent me to wait more and then the more two difficult hours of the whole process had passed because we wondered what that lady meant by that comment and if that could mean a deny. Finally an American man called us and sent my fiance to sit. He asked me again: when we met, how many time we have been together and said: you guys have nice pics and I said I have more! do you want to see them?? he said no no. He asked me about Curacao and said in a very quiet voice "your visa is approved" and I could not believe it and I standed there till he gave me some paper to receive the visa!!! so I asked: is it approved? he said smiling yes yes, I am doing my best to give it to you today. My advice: bring all documents you can. Do not take chances on that. If you have further questions, just send me a message. Good luck everybody!!
