Interview experience, and this is how my wife described to me.
My wife arrived at the Embassy at 5:45 am, and there were quite number of people hanging around as well. Around 6:30, Security/VFS folks asked to form a non-immigrant and immigrant form, and have the Passport and interview letter handy. And she went through the security check. After that she was given a token (The same Token number was used for the both interview). On her way in, VFS folks asked everyone if they have registered with the U.S Travels doc website. Everyone handed out the confirmation paper from the ustravelsdoc website, but the VFS folks did not take it, and as long as you have entered your information on the ustravelsdoc website, then you are good. She was asked to wait to have the token number called.
After a wait for an hour or so, she was called in for the interview by an young Indian female. Not many questions were asked.
1. Who is calling you?
2. Let me have your medical report.
3. Would you like have a translator" My wife answers that she would be fine but just in case, let me have a translator as well. And she was asked to sit.
A bit later, her Token was called for the interview by the IO.
1. Who is calling you?
2. When did you get married?
3. Show me some pictures, and especially the pictures with the priest?
4. Who arranged your marriage?
5. Is this an arranged marriage or love marriage?
6. When did you met him first time?
7. When did you see him last time?
8. Where does he work and what does he do?
9. Where did you go for honeymoon?
My wife was shivering as she was very nervous, and she had to redo the fingerprint couple of times. However, they were very patient with her. Finally, with the grace of God, she got approved.
