I with my 2 kids & stepdaughter arrived for our interview on March 28 at 6:45 am for our 7:30 am appointment. It went smoothly, we went thru security and was told to go inside the immigrant section and have a seat. After 1 hour we were called where we submitted our medical and asked a few questions like who is filing for us and where does he work and if we had ever travelled before. They took our fingerprints except my 7 yr old daughter. We were told to return to our seats and wait on our names to be called, which we did.
Inside was full so we were told to sit on the outside until they were ready for us. We were called after an hour or so. The Consul officer swore me in and then asked the following questions:
Did your husband get married to migrate to the US?
How often do you see him?
Have you ever travelled to any other country and for how long?
Have you any pictures of your wedding? I did.
He then asked my daughter when was the last time she saw her dad?
I was asked to sign on the DS230 part 2 for all of us given a green card then told that our documents will be mailed to us. I had to figure out that we were approved.I was happy anyhow.
