So I went past all the other people lined up outside up to the 20th floor and past the 2 security checks. I had the papers all in order or what I thought was order. The guys at the second security check gave me the wrong sheet... the one for the K3/4 visa instead of the K1, but that was okay. There was just one other K1 applicant with her fiance there... sitting on the chairs right infront of the few counters they have off to the left of the room that's on the left... hehe. The lady organizing the papers wasn't having a good morning she was running behind and the other fiance's dr had messed up her papers and had other issues. So I get up to the counter and all went alright. They weren't too happy I didn't have a letter from my fiance's employer. But I did have his statement of Leave and Earnings that the Military supplies. The other issue was that I took the birth certificate I was given when I was born and it didn't contain both my parents names on it so I had to go to the vital statistics in vancouver and get them to rush a copy of it to me. Which I was able to, at a price of course, receive and quickly return after my interview. The officer that interviewed me was very nice. Asked How we met? (it was online so then asked...) When was the first time we met in person? What does your fiance do? How many times have you visited him? how many times has he visited you? what is the longest amount of time you've spent in the us? if at any other time since I was 16 have I lived anywhere else? what is my fiance's rank in the military? do either of us have kids? was he married when I met him or seperated? He then said well I see no problems here... just need your new birth certificate...This was 1230. Never in this process did I need to show my evidence of a relationship nor did I have to show my chest xray (I really don't think it's necessary to bring it... they have the report from the doctor) So, when I returned at 230 and went through the 2 security checks again I have the same lady my birth certificate she took it and awhile later returned with my Visa and my envelope to hand in at my POE. She was much nicer once she wasn't so busy and time restrained. She seemed to know nothing about JFK being the only place where you could get work authorization, I'll try where I have my POE. So, I know have the worst picture ever posted into my passport and was all done by 3. So these here lucky socks are never leaving my possession.
