I arrived a little early for my appointment so I expected to be standing outside the Embassy for quite a while. However, one of the Embassy staff was coming along the line making sure everyone had their necessary documents. When she saw that I had an immigrant visa application she took me into the other line and I was allowed into the building about 5 minutes later. Inside the waiting room was very busy but I took my ticket and took a seat. I was called up for my first interview bang on time and the lady I spoke to was very courteous, and we even shared a few jokes. I then returned to take a seat before being called for the final interview. I had a wait of about half an hour before I was called to the second window. I was asked a couple of very easy questions about my relationship with my fiancée, and where I would be living in the USA. A few minutes later I was asked to raise my right hand and swear I was telling the truth before being advised that I had been accepted for the visa. Altogether my experience was pleasant and trouble free. I had organised all my documents into accessible folders and I believe that having an organised and friendly attitude facilitated an easy and stress free interview process! Good luck!
