I was done only by 11:30 am ) First there was a long line outside in front of the entrance. then there was a line inside in front of another entrance. Then I went to the waiting hall for immigrant visas. There I was asked to come up to a certain window where the russian lady asked me to give her all required doc-s. I think I looked funny while trying to get out the papers among this huge pile of papers. It turned out tht the needed me to give them only the applications filled out by me and put there my signature, the papers with my fiancees financial support, police report with translation, birth certificate with its copy, the copy of the first page of my foreign passport and the paper with the appointment approval - where that russian lady had put a special bar code. I think these are all that they asked. Then Ive waited for about 1.5 hour before I was invited for the interview. There were two Americans - a guy and a girl. I was talking to the girl/lady. Shes very nice and seemed to ask less questions than the guy. She gave me back the original birth certificate, asked me how we met, when the romantic relashionships started, when my fiancee proposed, how was the meeting of our families, where we are plannng to celebrate the wedding and live in the future, and she asked me to show the printed pics if I had them. And then she smiled and said that everything seems to be fine and the doc-s will get to BArnaul by Pony express in approximately a week.
UPDATE: Visa received 12 days later.
