I had my interview on Jan 16, 2013 at 8:00 am as it was mentioned in the appointment letter. My fiance attended my interview javascript:emoticon('') the strength that made me afraid of nothing.
We reached the embassy at 6:50am and there were so many people standing in the line already.
To enter the embassy you have to prepare:-
- Your appointment letter
- Your ID card
- If your fiance/fiancee attend your interview too, he/she has to bring his/her passport.
- Beside your documents you have to leave everything at the first entrance with the security guards.
First thing to do in the embassy we went to the counter to get our number. One number for one family. Our lucky number was 818 javascript:emoticon('')
First time my number appeared on the screen with the counter number was the time to submit the documents. The officer asked for required documents as listed in packet 4 and my fiance's passport. After that she asked whether I have any document to submit more, then I gave her all my documents. She guided me to go to the cashier counter to pay the visa fee (240USD).
Second time my number appeared was the time to do fingers print. The officer was nice and told me how to do the fingers print or you can look at the instruction which they put in front of the counter window.
Third time my number appeared was the interview time Sighhhhhhhhh javascript:emoticon('') counter number 5.
The white guy consulate asked me to raise my right hand to oath that I am going to tell the truth for everything.
He asked basic questions like:-
How did we meet? Describe it.
How long have we know each other?
How long after talking to each other that he came to visit you? For how long? What did you both do?
Did you have engagement party?
Did he give your mom a dowry?
Have you ever been married before?
Where did he buy your engagement ring? When?
Did you get him an engagement ring too?
Where does he work? What does he do at his work?
How many brother and sister does he have?
Does he rent or own a house?
Who does he live with?
What is your wedding plan?
Is your fiance here with you? Can you ask him to come?
The consulate asked my fiance the same questions that he already asked me to make sure everything is correct.
+ When will you leave?

+ So, come to pick up your visa on Jan 25, 2013 We got blue slip.
Yayyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyy javascript:emoticon('')
Jan 25, 2013 we went to pick up my visa at 11:00 am but my fiance was not allowed to inter the embassy, only the applicant was allowed. He had to wait outside javascript:emoticon('')
I gave my blue slip to the officer to exchange with the yellow envelop to enter the US. We used this envelop at the port of entry.
This process was tough but we made it and finally be together forever and always. Line <3 Seth javascript:emoticon('')
