Review Topic: K1 Visa

My fiance is a Bolivian citizen and resident of Spain. She lives in Barcelona. She flew to Madrid for the K1 interview. Her experience was positive overall. She had to pay I believe 165 euros for a medical exam the day before the interview. It was a routine exam but then they told her that she also had to get x-rays at another doctor's office, which she did. The following morning, the day of the interview, she had to go back to the doctor's office to pick up all the results to bring to the interview. At the embassy, she went to a window and presented all her paperwork (DS-156, 157, etc) and then she sat down with someone who asked her about our relationship and engagement and so forth. My fiance does not speak any English, so the entire interview was in Spanish. They approved the visa and said they would mail it to her address in 7-9 days.
