Overall I have to say the experience has been very pleasant. The waiting between steps is the hardest part and like most, I wish it could be more efficient. I am not sure if that is on the Consular or if the process just is what it is.
I will say that each part of the process was within the timeline stated, so it was never late. At each point when I had a question, the response from the Consular was very timely, so I felt the customer service was great.
On the day of the interview, my fiance found everyone to be friendly and very helpful. The wait to be interviewed was about 3 hours but it did give her a chance to see how the process played out for others. The atmosphere was good.
After having read about the expereince of several others, I was a little concerned about what to expect. I can honestly say that for us at least, it was a very good experience and I give the staff at the Consular kudos on a job well done!
