Showed up at 11am to submit docs (1230 appointment) (DCF for CR1). There was already a long line. They started letting everyone in at 12ish, and then up to 3rd floor for security check before heading up to 5th floor. Had to take shoes off and everything. She had a big suitcase full of documents, and they let her bring it in. Cell phone had to leave at entrance to consulate (they had a place for them).
Everyone was let in and given a number, but they seemed to call people up in random order, so arriving early didn't help. Everyone had to finish each step before the first person could start the next step (finger printing, payment, document intake, etc.) So don't bother getting there too early.
She finished just after 3pm.
The next day we showed up at 615am for the 730 appointment, but again showing up early didn't help. Random order. Priority for old people, pregnant women, and those with small kids.
Some people had green dots, and some didn't. Don't know why.
There were a few windows where the officer was very thorough, and asked a TON of questions, rejecting most people. One of the windows went really fast, and nearly everyone passed. This might have been because they separated everyone in advance based on the documents submitted the day before. Luckily my girl got the easy window.
It only took about 2 minutes, and they didn't ask very many questions at all. Mainly what our plans were in the US, if I was there with her for the interview, what I did and would do after moving to the US, and if she was a CCP member.
Then she was approved.
We prepared a ton of phone records, pictures, written documents, timeline, etc. and they didn't even look at most of it. I am a little disappointed I spent so much time preparing, but I can't complain now that we have passed 
She was done by 9:40am, and was one of the early ones to finish.
It was pretty cold out (December), and we had to wait outside in the wind, which wasn't nice. Also, there were a ton of dirty beggars who kept coming up and down the line asking for money and grabbing people, which wasn't cool either.
