This morning I had my interview at the consulate. I was cleared through the security (who were actually really nice which was unexpected). I then met with the consulate officer I had been dealing with over email. She explained the process, made sure they had all the documents, and then told me to wait for my interview.
The interview went as expected. I was asked what my husband's name was, where we met, when we met, what my husband did for a job, where and when we were married, and why I was in Virginia (where we got married). We then discussed my husband's orders, the military lifestyle, he gave me a handout on domestic violence and told me some places to visit when I head to Germany. He then said he could not approve me (as expected) until they had my results, but that I will get a call next week confirming that my passport was sent out with my visa. So basically, conditionally approved.
