I have had about 10 Visa interviews at Yerevan Consulate before, and trust me this one was the best.
The Consular Officer and staff were all very friendly and supportive.
After one of their employees double checked that I have all the necessary documents with me (DS Forms, Police Certificate, Birth Certificate (with a copy), Passport Copy, Financial documents and proof of relationship, he kindly organized those, not picking at minor details and mismatches in all the forms, he sent me to wait for my turn in the waiting area.
The Consular Officer was absolutely awesome. He was friendly and supportive - only asked me about how I met Jason (my fiance), how we managed to communicate all throughout the two years of separation (taking a note of the fact that we met twice during these years), and what are our plans for future(taking a note of the wedding date, location).
Right after this communication the guy just gave me a friendly smile, and told me that he approves of my Visa now, and I will receive a phone call shortly to come pick up my passport. He even did not wait for me to ask about when this may happen, but added that this will be happening in two to three weeks from today:-)
Shortly speaking everything went so well that I would just encourage everyone applying for K1 Visa to stop worrying and just make sure they have all documents that they can think of as being useful.
