Hello everyone! First of all I want to thank all the people who contributed information to this site, it was very helpful in our K1 visa process.
Regarding my interview at the Buenos Aires US Embassy: It was painless and the staff was kind and helpful!
I arrived the embassy around 15 or 20 minutes before my appointment time. There were people in line for tourists visas, I told the usher I had an appointment for a K1 visa and he told me to go straight to window #1. They checked my name on a list and asked me to go in. After that you go through a normal security check. Don't forget to check the restricted items list to enter the embassy. They checked my fingerprints in the next station and I was ready to go into the main building. Once in there they gave me a green folder and instructions on the order they needed my papers to be placed (inside that green folder). After a while my name was called up and I entered a small room where a lady asked me for only some forms that we sent on Packet III but where not signed and some originals of the copies we sent on Packet III aswel. After that I was asked to pay the corresponding fee in another window and wait to be called again. After a while my named was called again and then the actual interview took place. It was very brief, I was asked about how I met my wonderful Fianceé, how many times we have seen, if I made a formal marriage proposal. The interviewer was very nice and made me feel comfortable. After that she congratulated me and said that we were approved and that she needed to ask some formal questions to fill in personal information. I could not stop smiling and I have to say I had very watery eyes. Total in and out time was approximately 2 hours, the interview was not longer than 10 minutes, half of that time was signing papers and listening to further instructions.
I am so very happy I get to see my wonderful future wife in a few weeks and we can be together forever. Sending best of lucks, prayers and positives thoughts to all of you out there still in the process.
