So I had my interview last Tuesday. The interview was pretty painless - I would say I was in and out of the consulate in about an hour. Most of the time was simply waiting... First I went up to the immigration visa window and it was simply a matter of quickly going through my paperwork and supplying originals of anything I had only previously sent copies of (i.e. my birth certificate). After that I paid my visa fee. Some more waiting, and then it was time for my interview. Again it was really just someone checking over my paperwork. I believe I was only asked two questions "Was I going to change my name?" and "Where did I meet my husband?"
Today my passport, complete with visa and immigration file (to hand to the officer when I enter the US) arrived in the mail :-)
