Today I had the interview for the AOS. My husband, 9 old months son, little dog and I drove for 30 minutes and got there 25 min before the appointed time. Little wait, I thought it would be more because the room was full of people. But they soon called us, and a courteous lady escorted us to the interview room. Her demeanor was very nice, she swore us in and warned us she would be asking some questions for the matter of national security that we should not take it as personal. Then, all smiles... It was just like a chat with a new friend who wants to get to know you more. She interviewed my husband first, checking the information on the application. Then she interviewed me, regular stuff from the application, all the national security questions, how did my husband "find" me, when and where, did he proposed, the situation with my son's application (we have another filling going on for my son). The friendly conversation took about 20 minutes, and she said we were approved! Painless! She got me an approval letter and said that if I needed to live the country in a emergency I should make a appointment thru Infopass and to get a stamp in my passport. It was amazing.
