First of all it is recommended that you get there early. The embassy opens at 7:00a.m. My husband got there at 6:00a.m and their was no one there just the security man, so my husband was the first one in line. The security man will tell you where to go and you have to wait there. He just waited for about 5 minutes then they called him. First he talk to a Peruvian lady at a window, she then asked him for his medical results, then she asked him questions like where did you two meet, how many times did she visit you and what is her occupation. Also, she asked if he had any evidence and he just showed him photos. She then told him to sit and wait then in 10 minutes an American lady gave him a sheet of paper like taking an oath and he had to read it out loud. Then she asked him the same questions as before. While asking him the questions she was looking over the papers that we had sent to the NVC and the photos. then she just said all smiling "Congratulations your visa is approved." After that she gave him a piece of paper with instructions on how to sign up for the DHL to receive his visa and passport. After being inside the Embassy the total time he was in there were just 20 minutes. Overall, my husband said it was an easy experience the American lady that interviewed him was very nice and treated him really well.
