Review Topic: K1 Visa

Our appointment was at 8:45 but we arrived there at 8.30 and there was already a long line and one of our applications was not fully completed since we could not print it the night before due to computer issues.
Luckily there were those guys that fill it out on the spot across the street and that was big help. it was 20 soles but worth it.
I took a big carry on bag w/all papers (a bit too much) just take the essentials and pictures, they asked for pictures.
They ask her a couple of basic questions if she was married and if she is been to the US (No) and else the times that we seen each other. (She was nervous and missed one date). I was advised to seat down and not to be part of the interview. Then they told her to seat down and wait, after 15 minutes they call her again and they ask her more questions this time it was abt me (if I was married before (she said I don't know) and they asked for pictures and how we met. Then my fiancee told her about our engagement and the time that she met with my family. thern they ask her when are you getting married, she told them as soon as we get in the us and process all the papers to do it. after that the interviewer, who was like mad or not too nice, told her she is been accepted and to come back in a few days to pick up her visa.
ADVISE: Print everything out 2 days in advance
Be there at least 45 minutes prior to your appointment, although it doesn't much matter since at the end your interview is in the order they get your papers.
Dress very comfortable but still very nice, the waiting area is small and there are a lot of people and it gets warm.
Don't get nervous, practice with someone interviewing you several times, even better if its someone you don't know, because if you get nervous they will know and ask you more questions.
Tell your fiancee everything about you, have you been married before, do you have children, where you work, what do you do, the name of your company, etc. (they asked my fiancee straight questions, make it seem like I had children and she said not that i know, you better know to answer yes/no, so get to know everything about your other half)
Bring pictures of you both with each others families, that was big help, we even brought pictures of our engagement.
Any specific questions ask me and I will help..
