Hello everyone, here is my personal experience .My interview was on Nov.3rd.I went by myself because Jamie was unable to make it.I got there around 7:15 for my interview at 7:45 am.There were 7 people in front of me already, but we only wait for about 15min. before we all went inside the embassy .I was called to the first window about 30 minutes after I entered. The lady only asked me for my passport, forms DS-156(2) w/two pictures attached and DS-156K.Then, after another 30 minutes ,I was called again. Now, another lady asked me for my medical, police records, birth certificate and form I-134.Plus,my fiancee's W-2s forms. After she checked those, she asked for e-mails and photos. She went through my pictures and aske me wuestions about them, like : Who is this person?...When was this taken?. Then, she asked me to wait again .At that point, it was aroun 9:30am.So I though I will be leaving soon, either happy or sad...because a lot of people were there, and some of them were leaving with their passport in hand and a yellow paper .
But after be waiting for almost 2 hours, I hear my name...I went to window 9( but most people went to door 15)in which a nice gentlemen start to ask me questions in English. We talked for about 10 to 15 minutes about my experience in NY as an aupair, how long was i live there, if I ever live with Jamie, if I know his children, when did he get his divorce, when did he came to visit me.Finally, he asked me if I had a brother in the US, and I said "no"...but my brother went twice in a student program, and that he will try to go again this year so he can be a part of my wedding .We both laugh when I said that, and that was it.he told me: you already know about DHL...Good luck and have a safe trip!!!
