She got to the embassy at 6:30 am for her 7:30 am appointment. Before her appointment time, she turned in her paperwork. She was the first and only person in line 3 for a while. At 8:15 am, she had her actual interview which took less than 5 minutes and only consisted of 6 questions: my name, my occupation, where we met, how many times I've visited her, last time I went to Colombia, and method of communication. Immediately after, she got the good news -- welcome to the US!!! She was out by 8:20 am. The consulate commented that they were very appreciative that she organized all of her paperwork ahead of time. They didn't even ask her for proof of relationship, nor did they question why I didn't go.
