Rating: | Review Topic: K1 Visa
I arrived there at 7:15AM, the embassy was closed by then, so i went to some bakery and had a chocolate croisstant.. I went back to the embassy at 7:50AM, and was able to get inside at 8:15 after a thorough security check at the door. I took a number from the reception and went in. The called in my number and i gave them the required documents. I was called back in like 30 mins to go in for the interview... everything went smooth, the counselor was very nice and supportive. I got approved in like 8 minutes but she added, I'm not be able to give me the visa right away, your application requires additional administrative processing (t-country) "she didn't say this" but it's obvious........ she handed me a 221g white form, and told me we will call you and send you an email in like 1-2 weeks. Lebanon is considered one of the T-Countries.. my bad! oh i forgot to add that the electricity went off and on in a blink of any eye ...
