My interview was scheduled at 1:00 and I arrived around 12:20 but had to wait an extra 15 minutes as I was a little bit early. I finally got in through the gate after handing my appointment letter and my passport, all the guards were very nice. I took a ticket for Immigrant Visas, my number was A 115. I had to wait around one hour before being called for the first time at the window 5 where I was asked to hand my letter and passport. I sat down again for another hour or so and was called again at the same window with the same lady. I handed her all the papers this time, she made me sign a few forms and explained how to file for AOS and how long everything would take. She told me to sit down again and I was called about 20 minutes later at the window 10 for my interview. It didn't last very long, she typed a few things on her computer, asked me how me and my fiancée met? Then she looked at our pictures and asked me to name one of the member of her family and that was it. She said I would receive my Visa within 7 to 10 days and that I shouldn't buy my ticket before having the Visa in hand. I was out of the embassy at 3:00. All in all, it was a very pleasant experience, everyone was very friendly and nice and the wait wasn't that long.
