Our initial approach to the Embassy looked to be a long wait...but our line (line 3) was extremely short and we actually were the first in line (the other longer lines were for tourist visas). We presented our official letter then passed thru a security check were they took our cell phones and scanned any bags/purses. We were given green dots/stickers to place on our shirts and were told to proceed to gate 3 or 4. We only waited a few minutes when we were called to the window. A middle aged Caucasian gentleman with a thick Spanish accent was on the other side. He first asked my wife a few simple questions and my wife had to ask him to repeat something once due to his accent...to which he was apologetic and kind. He then called me and asked me a few simple questions...my wife signed the papers and we were told to sit and wait to be called again. Approximately 15 minutes later, we were called and we told everything was in order and that we should be receiving my Wife's visa within 2 weeks (which only took 3 days - in Bogota). Overall, super simple, easy and with out any hitch. javascript:emoticon('')
