Well. My whole AOS interview experience at the San Antonio office was, well, weird to say the least. We arrived at about 9:10 for our 9:30 appt. We got called in at around 10:00. The officer was very unprofessional. He never swore us in, or even introduced himself for that matter. He asked me if either of us had been divorced (no), if he had any kids (no), and if i was currently pregnant (no). He then asked to see a copy of our joint bank account, and that was it. He then took my EAD card (which excited me a little), then told me he couldn't give me my card because my name hadn't been cleared yet. He was quite rude about the whole thing, not offering much help or information, he just simply said "it could take a day, a year, 3 years, don't ask me!" (hhmmm... ok!?) I then had to ASK for my EAD card back from him as i wouldn't of had any other proof that i was authorized to work in the US. He looked at me kinda strangely, and then was like, "oh, yea, ok" Then, as me and my husband are still sitting there waiting for some sign that the interview was over, he brought out a stack of paperwork with someone elses name on it (i'm pressuming it was for his next interview...) after about 5 minutes of us just sitting there awkwardly, he was like "so yea, you'll get some info in the mail eventually. Cya" So like i said, weird experience......
