Navigating JFK after getting through CIS and getting the I-94 in the passport was confusing for a USC! Had to drop luggage off for flight to TPA, go out of security, and find a security checkpoint for domestic. The 5 hours layover was a good decision. It was that bad but I had to wait there for 20 minutes. The officer gave me the EAD that was it.

I was not asked any questions at JFK. First bloke took the brown envelope and asked me what did he have to do with it! He got his book out to follow the instructions, he stamped it and I went to the office. A guy took it all and told me to sit down, 2 mins later he handed it back to me with the EAD ... read complete review

Immigration at JFK went smoothly; they processed my fiance' without even asking him any questions -- they looked through his sealed envelope and then issued the temp. EAD/I-94 and stamped him through. I was expecting an interrogation!
