My fiance had really no problems getting through at JFK! They took him into a separate room to review his documentation. Asked who filed for him and where he would be living with. He answered and asked them for his EAD...they obiliged and that was it!

Had to wait about 20 minutes and then was my turn. Officer asked where I was headed to and if my fiance travelled with me... answered to his questions, and then he stamped passport and visa and said you are ready to go.. My fiances flight landed at 559am but by the time she came out it was 830am. It took her 2.5 hrs to get thru, immigration, getting her bags and then customs.
