Very easy. We waited in line for a bit and when we got called up I had my envelopes in hand. The officer immediately asked if I had a K1 packet. Very easy... fortunately the were hardly anyone in the immigration lines -Guy in the booth took are info then took my husbands passport and gave it to a lady who had us follow her into room-about 20 others waiting around. It was okay. Miami was a transit airport, it was a good decision to get a flight with a transit time of 5hs. Line at customs was incredibly long.

There were no issues with immigration and them letting him in. We had to go to a separate room, but weren't in there for too long. The only question they asked was the address where we would be living and that was it.

I went to Colombia to pick him up, and when we got to Miami, we went to passport control and then to a different room where we spent almost 30 minutes, the officer was very corteous and helpful and gave us all documents needed to start the process in the US.
