So we got there around 8 and our interview was at 8:15am.
Security was easy there was like # people in front of us. So we were told to go
to the top floor and we were called around 8 : 40am by this lady. She was ok , very straight forward.
My husband tried to have a conversation like how are you doing etc on our way to her office and she was very short with him. Ok so we went to her office which I felt was the longest walk of my life. Anyway so we get there and I am about to sit my butt down and she says hold on and she swears us in. So she goes on to ask how we met, we answered. She asked how long have we been dating ? we answered and then she was like wasn\'t that too soon to get married and I am wondering is it part of her business? really and my husband was like we just clicked and there was no going back. She kept wanting to know more about how we met and we told her more. She asked about my husband\'s job since he used to work where I lived and that strengthe... read complete review

We had 9:15am interview. We got there at 9:05 and were called in at 9:50am. After gettign sorwn in he asked us to verify our signatures which we did. He then asked me when we got married and a bunch of other questions that were on the I-485 forms (the ones about illegal activities which I all answered no to).He then asked my husband how we met and if he knew where I was from and my parents names. Then the officer and my hubby got on a conversation about both being pastor's kids and he told us we were approved and i will recieve my card in 4 weeks. Overall it took 10 minutes and he was very pleasant and never through any of the photos or paperwork we brought in (WE HAD ALREADY SUBMITTED ALL OF IT ANYWAYS). I'm so relieved, good luck to everyone still waiting

This forum has really helped me a lot - in terms of preparation, learning from other peoples' experience and psyching yourself up on what to expect and not to expect. Keep up the good work.
Our interview went on really smooth. We arrived about an hour early for the 10am Appt. We were actually called in around 9AM, since there was a cancellation/changes in the IO schedule.
We prepared, as was written on the appointment letter, all that was enumerated. No matter if we submitted all the documents or not - everyone who has received such letter MUST bring ALL those documents (Originals & Copies) - no ifs/no buts. If you want your interview to run smooth - PREPARE IN ADVANCE. If you have nothing to hide - there is nothing to worry about. IO's are just doing their job and we really just to give credit were credit is due. Maybe for some it may not have resulted positively - but do not give up and hang in there.
Our interview lasted for about 15-20... read complete review

Kenya nairobi i believe its one of theworst Us consulate in the whole entire world.
I went for my H1b Stamping sometimes last year, me my wife and our little daughter,we arrived at the embassy at 6:30 am, went throught the security cheks without any problem , submitted our passports DS 160 etc at window 1.then waited for the interview guess window no 10,
i was called for the interview..by a white gentleman he was so rude, he said you are too young to have a family, your petition is a fraud, please get out of here, i never looked at my papers, i have an MS degree fro US university, no reasons for for denial like 221 g or something very frustrated..
