AOS interview was a great experience, we waited about 15 minutes past our scheduled appointment time before being called in by the officer. The whole thing took less than 30 minutes and the officer was very professional, polite and to the point. After putting us under oath we reviewed the I-485 contents followed by us describing how we met. There were no questions on any of the documentation we submitted so we just shared some of the evidence of the relation that we brought, apartment lease contract, utility bills and a few photos, that was all. We were subsequently approved the same day, two thumbs up!

My interview was at 11:15. It was very easy for me to get to the location and parking, still $7 cash, was plentiful. Got through security right away and there was only 1 couple ahead of us in line for check-in. Showed my interview letter and id and got checked in at about 10:50. Went to the 2nd floor waiting area. It's a huge waiting area and there was only about 3 groups of us waiting. We we called in within 20 minutes and then had the interview. The interview was pretty laid back. The immigration officer ("IO") went through the information on the forms and then just asked us general questions about where we met and about the wedding, ie. who was there and reason why we picked the specific date for the wedding. The IO also asked each of us about each other's siblings, my husband forgot the name of one of my sisters, but the IO said don't worry about it. The IO then asked what we have done to financially merge our lives together. I then provided her documents showing that my... read complete review

I just had an interview yesterday (01/26/17) at Seattle field office in Tukwila. Me and my USC wife were nervous. We had 8:50 am appt, had breakfast in SeaTac going over some details and was at the security area around 8:25 am. As everyone already stated but just to make sure you bring $7 cash for parking! Some state that card is okay but I saw the sign cash only so just to be safe bring cash to avoid unnecessary delays.
Security check was painless and check in process was also easy and staffs were very courteous. We were told to head out to 2nd floor. There's a big waiting area which kinda reminds me of airport like setting. I am pretty sure numbers are called not in order because my number 19 was called before 11. We were greeted by this nice mid aged gentleman and off to his office. He said thank you for coming to the adjustment of status interview and made us to stand up and swear to tell the truth.
He was really professional but very very thorough. H... read complete review

As many others before us have said, our interview process at the Seattle office was quick and easy.
Our interview was scheduled for 7:55am but we arrived around 7:30ish. We went through security, signed in and received a number. Then we walked upstairs and sat down in a large waiting room. There was probably 20-30 other people there. Most of them had their lawyers with them, which I thought was surprising. Our number was called around 8:30ish and we met with the officer for about 5-8 minutes. Yes, our interview was that short. The officer was extremely friendly and basically only asked us to confirm a few things like: our full names, birthdays, wedding date, phone number and current address. He then told us that he'd read the affidavit that my husband wrote and didn't feel the need to ask us anymore questions. He asked if we'd like to submit any proof of our relationship with the packet and I handed him some scanned photos and paperwork (bank statements, rental agreemen... read complete review
