Review Topic: Adjustment of Status

Okay everyone here is our interview review. We arrived maybe 15 minutes early and showed our appointment letter and IDs at the front door. Then we had to go through security which is really tight here. They search your bags and make you take off all belts, shoes, jackets, etc. Very strict, but thanks to other posters on here, I only took a couple of things in my purse. We went upstairs and put our letter in the box. There were maybe 6 other couples waiting there. A man came out and called a name, but no one stood up. He called again, and then he said that was the last call for them and called another name. That couple left with him to another room. Right after that, right at 1 PM our appointment time, another man appeared and called us. I was surprised that we got to go ahead of the other people waiting. He told us that I would be allowed to interpret for my husband and we didn't need to bring our interpreter in with us. I am glad she was there though because you never know how the int... read complete review

We would have written here a nearly very good experience, but since within 24 hours we got the decision I would have to say a very good experience. May be the nice lady just wanted us to wait a little more for the decision. I am not good with writing the complete experience like we arrived ... and that kind of stuff, so I would just write the gist of it.
The interview went very very smooth although I was juggling with paperwork, which was too much paperwork. They wanted some of our bank statements, I had taken all of them with transactions. But anyways all in all there were no hiccups, no adverse questions, in fact it was an experience that you would remember all your life.

Hello People
It was a very pleasant interview at Monterey Rd, San Jose, CA
I was lacked of two things, the Vaccine needed to update, and my wife didn't speak English and I didn’t bring the interpreter. The fact was my wife is pregnant and that help us a lot –
The officer was very nice and polite. He approved us with fewer questions – thanks God! We did it

a message to you all, before come for interview, you need to prepare get your vaccine up to date and if your partner can't speak English, bring along interpreter.

Review Topic: Adjustment of Status

We had our interview for AOS (GC) on June 30, 2009. We arrived 10mn early and were immediately moved from the 2nd fl. #200 empty room to the larger room next door.
We were interviewed separately, me (husband and US Citizen) first for 30mn and then Angela second for another 30mn. The interview was done by officer Perry, who stayed professional, yet very harsh. We were not approved, actually the first thing he told me was that our case was under review and being audited, to which I asked what that meant and he said we would not get the approval for the Green Card today and that Angela would have to submit additional documentation.
He asked me bluntly if I didn't think Angela was "in it" for the Green Card, and then for proofs of relationship. He kept about 15 photos from our album, after I explained who all these people on the photos were.
He was not interested in my work or assets.
He of course mentioned Angela's US entry denial in 2007 for ... read complete review
