Review Topic: Lifting Conditions

We were surprised to get an interview letter as we had already been interviewed for AOS. We arrived a few minutes early and put our letter in the box. We waited for a long time, maybe one and a half hours before we were called. Our IO was very serious but friendly. She reviewed our application form and verified information like address and phone number. She asked about joint insurance, bank accounts, trips we had taken, and if we plan to have children. Most of the questions were financial in nature. We gave her our latest bank statements and utility bills along with some new affidavits from friends. We had already sent in a big envelope of evidence, and our interview was scheduled only two months after sending in our paperwork, so there wasn´t much to add. She flipped through our complete immigration file quickly and asked a few more questions about work and school (my husband is a student). Then she told us that we would have a response in a month. We were disappointed to not be app... read complete review

The rent a cop security guard is a little over the top. No one is in the building but we had to wait about 30 minutes after our interview time before we were finally seen. The woman conducting the interview asked us a few questions about how we met. If my wife was afraid to come to the US, If she was ok getting married to an older man, etc. We gave honest, straight forward answers and were approved in about 30 minutes. We are blessed.

ok guys i will continue with my interview: the IO have an accent and i got confused a few times i wasnt able to understand him 100% . First he made us swore that we are telling the truth and bla bla. and after that he opened my AOS package and asked all the questions, where i was born, DOB, the yes/no questions. my hubby is a full time student and his paid intern with NASA ended last month and since i just got my EAD 2 days ago im not employed and he made a comment about it, how come are living with bein unemployed. but trust me he was very very sarcastic with that and the rest of his questions. but my hubby and i were calm and had a natural attitude. after we was finished with my AOS package he asked us why is our attorney not present? we cant afford to pay his fee to be with us now, we answered. Next he asked us about how we met, and he interrupted me every 2 mins . we show him our lease agreement, bank statements and he added "oh anyone can go to a bank to add a person, and it doesn... read complete review

We would have written here a nearly very good experience, but since within 24 hours we got the decision I would have to say a very good experience. May be the nice lady just wanted us to wait a little more for the decision. I am not good with writing the complete experience like we arrived ... and that kind of stuff, so I would just write the gist of it.
The interview went very very smooth although I was juggling with paperwork, which was too much paperwork. They wanted some of our bank statements, I had taken all of them with transactions. But anyways all in all there were no hiccups, no adverse questions, in fact it was an experience that you would remember all your life.
