The best experience we've had with immigration officials, to date.
The only frustration was receiving the notice in December listing a number of items we should bring to the January interview, a number of which was never asked for.
But, that aside: Had the nicest Immigration Officer who was professional, courteous, and straight-forward. Asked us to swear to tell the truth. Asked my husband his name, address, and all of the Yes/No q's on the I-485. Confirmed where I work; if we are renting or owning our townhome; asked us how we met; when and where we got married; asked if we'd like to show any pictures - we had ALOT and decided to show 10 that we had pre-selected and printed on a Microsoft Word document with captions of who/what/where/when for each pic (a combo of wedding pics; dinner/lunch outings with friends/colleagues; holidays at my parents house, etc.).
My advice:
Get there early to find a good parking spot. We got there an hou... read complete review

We had two interviews on this site. One was the first AOS interview that we failed and than we had a second videotaped (called stokes) interview. The first interview was not pleasant as the officer was really difficult and did not appreciated the fact that we met and got married quickly. She scheduled us for a second interview in few minutes. I guess she took a decision very quickly. The second interview experience was way better than the first one as the officer was very pleasant and professional. They separated us and questioned about our day-to-day activities. We had the impression that the second officer was satisfied with the answers although there were some mismatches (reasonable ones). During the second interview, we spent about 3 hours. Towards the end, she has started to hurry as she was running out of time apparently. She gave us back the documents and said we will have the answer from the mail. I insisted if it was good or bad, she smiled and said she needs the approval of h... read complete review

I had my interview on October 7th, 2010. The interviewer a bit cold and she basically asked me 3 terrorist questions. She asked Paul when and where we first met, where his parents live, have I met them and where we travel together outside US? She never ask to see all the supporting documents (wedding photos, joint back account and etc). She review all the AOS forms that we submitted before and she said all the documents seem to be fine. She handed us a paper written "For Further Review" and we'll get the result within 4 weeks. The interview only took 5-10 mins.
I received my NOA saying my application for permanent residence has been approved on October 15th and my conditional of green card arrived on October 18th.
