Interview done!

Not sure if this interview report will be too useful for many because we are a bit of a unique situation. We've been married over 12 years and the wife has had a B-2 11 years with 6 trips to the US over that time. We have an age difference of 26 years. Anyway, the interview was yesterday morning at 9:15 at the San Antonio FO. It's only 15 minutes there and parked at 8:45. Guard said they were only taking 9s so waiting a few more minutes to get in line and then went through security. Sat in the ceremony room maybe 30 minutes before our number was called and were led to his office. Very friendly and pleasant. I think we actually took like an hour with much of that time him complaining about having to do the online version of the interview and not being fluent in navagating it. It really seemed like it might have been his first time using it. He had a walking cast on so he might have been out for a while before this. Of all the papers, pictures, e... read complete review

The wait is over!!

We were waiting around 50 minutes-1 hour before got called.

The officer who interview us was so nice and calm!
She just went through my I-485 and asked whatever it's in there had a funny chat related my elbow surgery and about something that i can't tell you 🤣. She laugh about how many stuff i brought along and she didn't even touched anything 🤣. Then she walk us out to the entrance and said get better with my elbow 🥺. She was so niceeeeee.

Extremely kind and helpful IO. Basically told us she was going to approve us within 5 minutes of walking in the room. Looking back on it, I wasn't asked a single question about my spouse or my spouse's family. I was just asked to "tell me you all's story, and as you do that hold up documents, tell me what they are, and circle where your names are."

I might have just gotten lucky with the IO, but it wasn't nearly as bad as I thought it could have been.

Had a very pleasant experience with a nice IO. Simple questions and all done within 20 minutes of entering the office. Waited to be called for about 30 minutes though.

We were scheduled for 8am, got there at 7:35. Got in line with many others. Started letting us in at 7:45. Went thru security, checked in and waited for our number to be called until about 8:15 or so. We had a nice man. He only asked for the i693 and our IDs/passports. No other evidence. We went thru the I130, some relaxed questions about how we met, what my husband's (he's the one immigrating) plans are for himself in the US (job etc) and that's about it. Lasted less than 20 minutes, I'd say. We were back in the car by 8:40.
